Same Password
Managing multiple passwords can be hard, especially when they have to be long and complicated. However, it is necessary to have different passwords at least for sensitive sites such as your online bank and your corporate login. Hackers regularly attack online sites and their users and then publish the information on public or secret sites. If you reuse your password for multiple sites, you could be in deep trouble or even lose money.
A password manager app might be useful to handle passwords for you.
Two-factor authentication is also a good idea where possible. Two-factor authentication uses two of the following categories to verify your login:
- Something you know (like your password)
- Something you have (like a one-time code sent via text message)
- Something you are (like your fingerprint)
